Currently, Las Gaviotas supports supports a number of projects in Peru, Guatemala, and Mexico. All of the projects focus on helping helping children make the transition from elementary school to secondary school and beyond.

All of these projects target children who cannot continue their schooling for various reason due to poverty. Las Gaviotas aids these students in the form of financial help with tuition, help with transportation to and from school, and funds to pay for school fees and supplies. Without help these students would be left to spend their lives in abject poverty, with little opportunity to better their situations.

Las Gaviotas will assist as many students as our funds will allow. We wish to expand the number of projects, and ultimately children, that we can help, but to do so we must increase our fund base. With the support of current and new donors, we can reach out to other areas and extend our reach. Many letters of gratitude have been received from student who otherwise would not have finished secondary school without the help of Las Gaviotas. Many of these same students have gone on to tech schools and other areas of education, and now have much brighter future.

We invite all who see the good we are accomplishing to join with us in this special humanitarian service and help us fund these projects and even expand them to other needed areas.
